CLIENTS EDUCATION

Vera Aarts

"What I bring is more than 30 years of knowledge and experience, including a pursuit of justice and the belief that every person has good qualities and valuable talents, which are best used in a safe environment and respectful society". Content, trust and progress are my most important core values. My experience with Corporate Governance is useful to review and/or setting up policies for a socially safe environment in a company or organization. My experience with and between people at the highest management level, including the Supervisory Board, is useful to have reporting conservation with people at all levels in an organization.

Educated as a Chemist (PhD), I have a passion for molecules and chemical reactions. I started my career as a researcher. After having executed a number of inventions myself, I focused on recording inventions as a Patent Attorney. My curiosity about processes brought me later to Risk Management and Law, rules and Regulations. Eventually, I became Secretary of the Board of Directors and learned a lot about running a large company as well as the interaction with and between people at the highest management level including the Supervisory Board. At the end I became Secretary of the Managing Board and learned a lot about running a large company and the dynamics between people at the highest management level including the Supervisory Board.

This enlarged my knowledge of chemistry between molecules, to chemistry between people. Also because parallel to my main tasks I fulfilled roles like ombudswoman, sustainable employability coach and since a number of years as  Dutch (LVV) certified confidential advisor (inappropriate behavior and integrity). Currently, I work for a number of different organizations as an external confidential adviser (see clients) and I am selected as a member of the Members' Council of the LVV (National Association of Confidential Advisors). As of December 2024 I am the Chair of this Member's Council.

Often it is the interaction between people that once subconsciously degenerates into unintended and unwanted chemistry between people. Contributing to redirecting and improving those interactions into the intended right way, that's what Personal Chemistry stands for.

In addition, Personal Chemistry offers help to the young generation by teaching chemistry to those who need extra help and practice to understand the principles of Chemistry and need further help in preparing for school exams (VWO and HAVO).

And of course I am also willing to give advice about working as a (board) secretary, which I have enjoyed doing for many years.
